Questions
How is pricing set?
Rent is a percentage of each piece's retail price: 15% per week for photo, film and TV, 10% per month for home staging, and 20% per event for shows. There is a $250 minimum order. Delivery and pickup are quoted by location, or you can pick up and return pieces yourself.
How long can I rent for?
Photo, film and TV rentals have a 1-week minimum, and each additional week is billed at the same rate. Home staging has a 1-month minimum and continues month to month until you call for pickup. Event rentals cover up to 3 days from delivery to pickup; longer shows are billed at the weekly rate. If you need pieces longer than planned, let us know before your end date and we'll extend at the same rate, as long as the piece isn't booked by someone else.
Where do you deliver?
Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, with farther locations quoted on request. Our own crew handles every delivery.
Do you need a certificate of insurance?
For productions we ask for a certificate of insurance naming Broward Design Center as additional insured. If you don't have one, we can hold a refundable card deposit instead.
Can we pick up the pieces ourselves?
Yes. If you have your own crew and truck, you can pick up from our Fort Lauderdale showroom during open hours (daily, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm) and return the pieces by your end date. We'll help load and leave delivery off your quote.
Can I see pieces before I rent?
Yes. Visit the Fort Lauderdale showroom any day, or ask us for photos and dimensions of anything you're considering.
What if a client or home buyer wants to keep a piece?
Every rental piece is also for sale. Part of the rent you've paid can be credited toward the purchase.
How far ahead should I book?
A week ahead is ideal, and we'll always try to make short notice work. Popular pieces book up during show season.
